Raw Creamed Honey
Creamed honey is pure raw honey that we crystallize quickly. In order to "cream' the honey we add about 10% creamed honey from a previous batch as a starter. For the next two days we pump this through a geared pump that breaks up any large crystals. This is bottled and stored at 59 degrees Fahrenheit. This gives our creamed honey a smooth texture and a peanut butter like consistency perfect for spreading on toast!!
Premium creamed honey is light in color. In order to achieve this we blend one part of our Michigan honey with one part of white honey from Saskatchewan, Canada. This gives us a lighter product and still preserves the taste of our Michigan wildflower honey. This is still pure raw honey!!
